The ALIA WA
NewGrads second Library Spotlight event is on Public Libraries.

Are you
interested in finding out more about the employment opportunities available in
Public Libraries? Would you like to know what people in different roles
actually do?

Come along to
our spotlight event to hear from our panel of guest speakers:

  • Andrew Kelly
from Town of Victoria Park who will talk about his shiny new eServices
    role

  • Karina Oliver
from City of Bayswater who will tell us about Youth Services and being a
    children’s Librarian
  • Daniel Rozas
from City of Joondalup who will inform us about their exciting local history
    digitisation project
  • Kelly Hall
from Morley Public Library who will let us know about the joys and challenges
of working as a branch Librarian

There will be
a chance to ask questions of speakers and network with other Library people.
You never know, you might meet a potential employer!
