On the 2nd July the State Library Board Awards Night was held that the State Library in Northbridge. With a lovely evening mingling with library people and other interested parties the first award for the night was the ALIA West 2025 F A Sharr Award.
Brooke Donabie, the 2024 winner, gave a recap of her year and where the Sharr Award had taken her and then introduced this years winner, noting the very high standard of nonimations received.
The ALIA West Committee welcomes Darby Bond Brown as our newest committee members and our new Sharr Award Winner.
Darby spoke with conviction and passion when introducing her presentation: Engagaing with changing communities through community-led practice.
