ALIAWest held our annual Quiz night on the 13th November to raise funds for the F A Sharr Award.
It was an eventful night with engaged participants and our own favourite Quiz Master Kael Driscoll.
With 5 rounds it was a neck to neck race to end with with only a few points between teams.
The Table Quizzes stretched peoples minds a little further and with games of heads and tails, and a coin toss we all got some exercise as well!
Everyone was so generous (as they always are) in buying raffle tickets, purchasing the quizzes and playing the games that we have covered another Sharr bursary and our share of the Kay Poustie Scholarship awarded by the State Library.
We thank you All! And our Donors for their wonderful prizes. Our donors will have their own webpage soon, highlighting all the wonderful institutions, companies and individuals who are so kind and generous.
We loved being able to provide online payments as well as the usual cash and look forward to providing it in the future all thanks to ALIA Head Office.
We are already planning for next year and while we know it will be held in November 2026, we will post a specific date in the new year.
