ALIAWest invites passionate students, professionals and practitioners from the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums and Records) sector to submit proposals for presentations or workshops at our upcoming event celebrating lifelong partnerships and innovations across cultural institutions.
Theme: Connect, Create, Collaborate
Our theme highlights the transformative power of working together across disciplines using new or existing relationships and technologies, to shape the future of West Australian knowledge and heritage.
We welcome proposals that explore
- Collaborations between institutions or communities
- Creative approaches or pilot programs on community engagement, programming or teaching
- Leadership and management strategies that foster inclusive culture or technologies
- Creative technologies in cultural spaces
- Case studies of partnerships or co-designed projects
- Internship outcomes or projects for the GLAM sector
Presentations can be a standard 20-minute presentation followed by 10 minutes for questions. Workshops can run for 1 hour.
This is an in-person event, but we welcome online presentations from remote speakers.
