The Royal on the Waterfront proved to be the perfect setting for our first meeting of the year. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, giving us space to reconnect after the holiday break while easing into thoughtful conversation about the year ahead. Oh, the food! Absolutely delicious!!! Plates were passed, recommendations exchanged, and more than a few of us made mental notes to return with friends and colleagues.
But beyond the flavours and the setting, the heart of the evening was our planning. This was not just a monthly meeting — it was a moment to align our vision for 2026. We discussed upcoming events, opportunities to strengthen engagement across the sector, and ways to continue supporting library and information professionals throughout Western Australia. The conversation flowed easily, fuelled by shared enthusiasm and the collective desire to make this year meaningful.
